Case study – Bespoke Bedroom Remodel

Bespoke corner wardrobe and LED display cabinet, made from a melamine faced chipboard and decorative panels from an anthracite fineline metallic material. No finish was applied to this product.
At Nash Furniture and Joinery, we understand that keeping to a budget as best as possible is important to customers. When this is a priority, we do our best to work hands on with the client to ensure they are choosing the best level of design, alongside materials and finishes, that best suit their requirements and financial needs. Costs can be reduced in many ways, one of which is through the installation process. At NFJ we have found one of the most affective, cost-efficient solutions is offering our clients two different installation choices known as, fitted and freestanding, which has been shown to reduce installation time by up to 50%.
Case study – Bespoke FREESTANDING DESK

Bespoke freestanding desk, made from oak veneer MDF and finished with a mahogany stain. A lacquered top coat was applied to this piece to give a protective finish.
This is a great example of our Freestanding Furniture, that is a popular choice for clients who intend to move or redesign their space. This project, as with most freestanding pieces, was purpose built to suit a specific space, with virtually all components made in house and installed at the clients’ location. This reduced the installation time overall as the need for construction on site was minimal. Freestanding Furniture is a great cost-effective choice should you wish for a piece to move along with you.
Case study – Bespoke Fitted Bookcase and Wine rACK

Bespoke fitted bookcase, made from chipboard melamine and decorative panels from grey Santa Fey oak materials. No finish was applied to the project.
This is a great example of our Fitted Furniture, which is a popular option chosen by clients. The design is created to seamlessly blend into your chosen space, as a fixed structure. Although this selection will increase the installation time overall and can be more costly as a project, it gives a comprehensive feel to any design and is more resilient that it’s freestanding counter-part. Fitted Furniture is a great choice that is definitely worth the investment should you wish for a classic piece to last you a lifetime.

Bespoke Furniture Price Guide + Process
From sending us your idea to installing a new bespoke piece in your home, all our furniture goes through our 3-Phase process to make sure you’re getting the best value from your service.
We ask customers to be aware of the standard services NFJ offers, in order to help us build your quote and design to match budget needs and requirements.
Our bespoke furniture typically fits into one of three service categories: Basic, Standard and Fully Bespoke. While our services act as guidelines for usual bespoke work, we are open to discussing unique ideas that are truly original.
We treat our services as templates from which your creativity and our expertise can run while. That is why, although we can give estimations based on previous work, we encourage anyone with an idea to contact us for their free quote that is wholly unique to you and your design. This allows us to fully consider your requirements and create a fully bespoke experience.

Materials & Finishes
Our materials and finishes can cover a wide variety of different patterns and colours to suit your preference. Whether you’re colour-matching or looking for or a vibrant stand out design, we will always advise on solutions for your space. During your initial consultation, NFJ will allow you to peruse our supplied materials and finishes to find the perfect match.

Additional Features
Bespoke designs is all about showing off the most loved areas of your home. If you have that little something special, our add-ons are a great way to embellish bespoke designs.
This could be anything unique such as LEDs, bespoke hardware (think undermounted drawer runners for smooth closing), and sliding doors.

Sustainability
Sustainability is at the forefront of most of our projects, specifically within our bespoke work. Where transport is one of the largest non-sustainable practices companies are impacted by, we make sure to keep our site deliveries and installations to a minimum. This means being proactive with our design and build process, so neither our customers or the environment pay the price.
We also try and make best use out of the materials we purchase by adhering to certain sizes when designing your piece. This allows NFJ to reduce waste overall – which you can read more about in our Handcrafted Homeware section.
